Erin Is Almost 4
March 2002

Like in a baby book, I try to take the time to sit down and write about the kids progress and personalities at different ages.  Erin will be 4 years old on May 4th this year.  She has turned into quite a little character.

bulletHer favorite outfit is an "old navy" t-shirt she got from her Aunt Bonni, Uncle Dean and cousins.  It is so stained that it is not fit to wear in public anymore!  She adds a blue cape (a silk scarf tied in the front) and clean underpants -- a complete outfit!  She then becomes, "Super Hero" and will not answer to "Erin" anymore.  As with any favorite outfit, washing it is optional with her.  This is her attire most days.
bulletShe also likes to pretend to be a dog -- a naughty one.  She says, "Dog did it".
bulletShe has learned how to dress her Barbie dolls.
bulletShe hates to have her hair brushed.  All those curls make lots of tangles.
bulletShe loves to practice reading, making up stories and pretending to "sound out" the words.
bulletOne of her favorite shows is Scooby Doo.  You can fix basically any boo-boo with a Scooby Doo band aide too.
bulletShe enjoys playing games on the computer and drawing and painting too.
bulletShe likes to cook dinner, even if it is just putting noodles into the pan for me.
bulletShe enjoys "coffee drinks" with her Daddy.  A latte' for him at the drive through and warm flavored milk for her.

Erin the cowgirl.
She got her fancy Montana boots and hat from Grandma and Grandpa when she turned 3.  She has just discovered them to be BIG FUN.
